CLINICAL AND LABORATORY FINDINGS IN CHILDREN WITH INFLUENZA INFECTIONS

ABSTRACT Objective: We aimed to show the clinical characteristics of children with influenza infection and relationship between infections hemogram parameters, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte (PLR), neutrophil/monocyte (NMR), mean platelet volume (MPV). Methods: The data patients who applied Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Medical Faculty Pediatrics outpatient clinics had positive rapid test were scanned through hospital information system. Results: median age neutrophil value in A group significantly lower than B (p=.002, p=.008). MPV monocyte higher (p<.00, p=.005). WBC count was found be hospitalized compared outpatients. (p = .039). There no significant difference groups terms NLR, PLR, NMR. Bacteremia detected more Underlying chronic diseases outpatients inpatients.(p<.001) Conclusion: severity infleunza subgroups parameters.
